Mural
William Aston Hall, Wrexham
My mural at William Aston Hall was inspired by the building’s rich history and its original opening in the mid-20th century. I based the design on an old photograph from the hall’s early days, reimagining it with a warm, vintage-inspired colour palette to capture a sense of nostalgia and local pride. The piece was painted freehand directly onto the wall using house paint, which proved to be a challenging but rewarding process. Through this project, I explored how my artistic style, rooted in retro tones and graphic forms, could translate into a large-scale, public artwork that celebrates both community and heritage.
